Nintendo has finally launched their most anticipated console, The Nintendo Switch. The Switch can be transformed into a living room console, to a desktop console to a handheld console in three simple steps. Nintendo revealed the Switch in their hour-long presentation. Noticeably, Nintendo didn’t talk much about the hardware specifications of the product. The whole presentation was dedicated to the upcoming titles and the gameplay experience. Nintendo showed how easy it is to share the gameplay experience with your friends and family using their new Joy-Con controllers. And how you can take the gameplay experience out of your living room. It is clear that Nintendo thinks experience is more important than the specifications. You can watch the full event below,

Nintendo later revealed some hardware specifications, it features 6.2 inches 720p multi-touch display panel and 32 GB of storage. When docked, it can stream games at 1080p resolution at 60 fps. The new modular Joy-Con controllers will come in three color options. The standard gray, Neon Blue, and Neon Red. Each Joy Con controller unit has an integrated accelerometer and gyroscope, which means you can use them as the motion controllers. The left Joy-Con has a little square button to take the screenshots or record the gameplay videos.

Nintendo Switch will be available at $299.99 starting March 3, 2017. Stay tuned for the update.
