Breath of the Wild is one of the most anticipated games of 2017. And it is about to be the Switch best seller title. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is releasing on March 3, 2017. Following are the five things you should know before you play the new Legend of Zelda,

The surrounding

Your survival depends on the surroundings, every task involves using some elements from the area surrounding you. The gameplay has a kind of satisfying learning curve. Every step you take, every decision you make you must take your surroundings into the consideration.


Before going on any adventure you should be aware of your physical limitations. If you dive into a lake and you don’t have enough stamina, you will be drowned before you get to the other end. Similarly, if you try to climb the snowy mountain without the proper gear you will be freeze to death.


Pressing random buttons won’t get you anywhere, experimenting and learning the new tactics is the key. You can dodge the vulnerable enemy attacks if you pay the close attention. Link is totally capable of defending and attacking if you press the right buttons at the right time. Don’t worry about the weapons, get creative with your battling tactics.


Swords, spears, clubs, and shields, you will come across wide verities of weapons throughout your journey. Every weapon in the game is acquired by defeating your enemies. Before choosing the right weapons you should consider their durability. Most of these early weapons will break after just a few fights. None of the early weapons are durable enough to be your permeant choice. Be wise while choosing your weapons for the inventory.


Every time you defeat your enemies, they will drop the body parts in addition to their weapons. You can later use them as your resources throughout your journey. Other consumable resources can be gathered by hunting animals, exploring mountains, and taking fruits from the trees. You can use mountain minerals and meat to cook meals at camp fires.

The Legend of Zelda is one of the longest running video game series of all time and no matter how many times Nintendo releases it, it never gets old. Breath of the wild features beautifully crafted wide surroundings. From long grass fields to the snowy mountains, Breath of the wild has the largest map ever created for any Zelda title. And it is safe to say that it is by far the best Zelda game ever created.
