Is Corsair’s latest gaming PC really the “ONE”

Last month Corsair announced they will be launching company’s first ever pre-built gaming PC. The Corsair ONE is a fully fledged plug and play gaming PC developed by a company mainly known for manufacturing PC hardware components. Corsair ONE is now available to purchase and it comes in three different variants.

Design wise, the ONE features a tower-like structure that fits in between the boring corporate PCs and a more aggressive gaming PCs. It features a stealthy black aluminum body lightened up by the blue linings that can be turned off. Unlike most gaming PCs, ONE doesn’t feature a custom RGB lighting. The black and blue design perspective gives the ONE a simple yet elegant look.

The whole system is cooled down by a single exhaust fan located at the top. The right and left panels act like the air intakes. There is an additional second water cooler for the GPU available in the high-end Pro model.

It is available in three variants the Corsair ONE base model and two different Corsair ONE PRO models. The base model starts at $1799 and it goes all the way up to the high-end model priced at $2399. Check out the specifications below,

Getting inside the Corsair ONE

The Corsair ONE is a pre-built computer, which means user up gradation can be little tricky. The good news is that most of the components are standard and are not specially designed for the ONE. The ML140 exhaust fan located at the top is very simple to remove, but getting inside the system takes a lot of efforts. According to the company, only a Corsair technical person or a verified service center is allowed to disassemble it, getting into the system will void the warranty.

The Verdict

For someone who is looking for a pre-built ready to run killer gaming and workstation, the Corsair ONE is a perfect choice for them. It is a really powerful VR ready gaming computer that comes in a small form factor and doesn’t look like a fiery beast.  Of course one can build a computer with the same configuration at 20% less amount, but Corsair is a well-known brand in the computer industry and they are also offering 2 years warranty with the system.

Stay tuned for the update.
