The Nintendo Switch is finally here. It will come with a pair of Joy-Con controllers, docking station, and a Joy-Con grip. Everything needs to get you up and running out of the box. If you are into party games you might consider buying some extra pairs of Joy-Con controllers or if you are a real pro you will go with the official Pro controller. The choice depends on the user needs and preferences.
Following is the list of accessories we think every Nintendo Switch owner must have,
Surge Joy-Con Grips
When not attached to the Switch, the Joy-Cons can be used as individual game controllers. It’s a really clever and handy solution. But there is also a problem, the Joy-Con controllers are just too small to be used as an individual controller.
The Surge Grip adds a little more mass to the tiny Joy-Cons. It makes the Joy-Con more comfortable and ergonomic to hold. Unlike the other rubber grips available out there, The Surge Grips are made out of hard plastic material. It also comes with a pair of rubber Joy-Stick grips, but they don’t actually add anything to it.
If you are planning to get a Nintendo Switch then a screen protector is a must have accessory. There are reports claiming that the docking station can easily scratch the display. Use screen protector to avoid any hairline scratches.
One of the biggest features of Nintendo Switch is its portability. When it comes to choosing a perfect carrying case, Nintendo’s official case is the best option. It lets you store a Switch with Joy-Cons and has a space for 14 game cards. It also comes with a microfiber cleaning cloth, which may come in handy.
The switch doesn’t feature a standard Ethernet port. If you are also one of those guys who prefers old good Ethernet over the Wi-Fi then you should consider buying this USB to Ethernet adapter.
The Switch feature a Non-removable 4310mAh battery. Nintendo claims it will provide you 1-3 hours of playtime (depends on the usage) over a single charge. Which is not a lot considering Switch is made for playing your favorite games on the go. Everyone should have an external power bank. Before using any external power banks, make sure it is fully compatible with the Nintendo Switch.
Stay tuned for the updates.
