Back in June 2016, during its E3 2016 press conference, Microsoft unveiled the Xbox One S with updates hardware, a successor to the original Xbox One console. Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the original, features the new white-colored design, and supports vertical orientation with a stand. Xbox One S supports the playback of 4K resolution video from supported streaming services and Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc, and high dynamic range (HDR) color using HDR10.

The capacitive power and eject keys were replaced by physical buttons, the side USB port and controller sync button were moved to the front of the console, and the console no longer uses an external power supply “brick”.  Xbox One S is available in 500 GB, 1 TB, and “special edition” 2 TB models, officially retailing at US$299, $349, and $399 respectively.

Stay tuned for the updates.
