Alienware 17 R4 (2017): The ultimate gaming laptop?

Alienware 17 R4 (2017)

Dell has launched the upgraded version of their Alienware 17 R4 for the year 2017. The base model starts at $1,299.99 and it goes all the way up to $3,118.99. Obviously, this laptop is not meant for everyone and yes you can build a much better gaming PC for that price. But if you are in the market looking for one of the best single-card gaming laptops then look no further.

Design wise it follows the classic Alienware gaming laptop look with the rear “jet engine style” ventilation grilles. The exterior is made of solid anodized aluminum and magnesium alloy, while the keyboard section is made of rubberized material. It is built like a tank with almost no body flex. The RGB lights located on the sides, lid, logo, power button, keyboard, and the touchpad are fully customizable via Alienware’s software.

The new Alienware 17 R4 offers a decent I/O port selection with a USB-C port, two USB 3.0 port, headphone and mic jacks, a Killer Ethernet jack, an HDMI port (60 Hz), a USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3, a Noble Lock slot, and a power in port.

The upgraded Alienware 17 R4 is a premium laptop that delivers the high-end gaming performance. If you have got the money, looking for a premium gaming laptop and don’t mind the bulky Alienware design then it is the perfect option for you.

Stay tuned for the updates.
