With the iPhone X Apple introduced the new security unlock a feature called Face ID. The Face ID uses dedicated hardware and software to scan a person’s face to unlock their new iPhone X. All the operations are carried out locally inside the Apple’s new A11 bionic neural engine. Apple claims the chances of somebody else unlocking your iPhone using their own face is as rare as one in a million.
As reported by WIRED, Recently an iPhone X user named Sana Sherwani and her husband Malik found that her 10 years old son was able to unlock her phone using his face. There were no tricks involved, Ammar just casually took the phone, pointed it out to his own face and he was in within few seconds. You can watch the video below,
She was shocked to see the results but according to her, it is still a very convenient method. Malik said, “We don’t want to disable Face ID. It’s very convenient. But this is a lot of hassle in terms of privacy.” Apple has yet to release any official statement on the issue.
Stay tuned for the update.
