Acer’s popular entry level gaming laptop now comes with the upgraded processor and GPU. The new Aspire 5 series of laptops feature Intel’s 8th generation processors and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics processing unit. The MX150 which is a successor to the previous generation NVIDIA 940MX GPU delivers significant performance improvements compared to its predecessors.




The NVIDIA GeForce MX150 is based on the company’s new Pascal architecture, it is basically a mobile version of the desktop GeForce GT 1030 graphics card. NVIDIA claims it can deliver up to 4X faster performance over integrated graphics for photo and video-editing applications, as well as faster, smoother gaming.
