Nintendo Switch, a video game console designed by Nintendo, has been a real shot for the Japanese giant. This virtual console has changed the fortunes of the gaming company, which has sold over 10 million units in just 9 months. Though Nintendo Switch dominated 2017, it’s time to pay attention to 2018. Now, the question is: Will Nintendo, like 2017, be able to follow up renewed fan faith, robust ports and red-hot exclusives in 2018?

After the launch of the Nintendo Switch Online service, you will need to pay a subscription fee of $20 per year and this will allow you to gain access to a library of classic games like ” Super Mario Bros.3″, “Dr. Mario” and “Balloon Fight” etc.

The Pokemon Game Is Likely To Arrive As Early As 2018:

A core Pokemon game is about to arrive at the Switch. Now, Nintendo’s main game console will be Pokemon’s main handheld console. The Switch will be the only place for Pokemon to go. But, actual launching date is still unknown to us.

New Games Starring ‘kirby’ And ‘yoshi’:

Nintendo Switch is going to launch ‘kirby’ and ‘yoshi’ games in spring 2018. ‘kirby Star Allies’ and ‘Yoshi’ games, a sequel to ‘Yoshi’s Wooly World’ will be controlled by you in a 2D world.

Entertainment And Apps:

Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video are available on Wii U. one more entertainment app-Hulu- is about to be launched by the Nintendo Switch. Its official announcement is yet to be heard though.

Switch Online And Virtual Console:

Nintendo is going to announce Virtual Console, which will hit Switch at some point. Nintendo has numerous first-party titles like Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart: Double Dash etc. to choose from it is a fire knockout.

Metroid Prime 4:

Metroid Prime 4 is going to have its mainline fun in 2018. It was a big announcement back at E3 2017. Metroid Prime 4 will be another member of the Nintendo royalty.

Indies On Nintendo Switch:

Nintendo is expected to continue to show indie scene with new titles. Recently, Amazon listing recommended 18 new titles to be announced in January Direct.

It is true that Nintendo will face a hard time recapturing the same magic as in 2017. But there is no need to worry. The Switch is already in 10 million homes and surely, more publishers are expected to bring their latest to the new system in 2018. No doubt, Nintendo fans will keep their joy-cons in hand.
