Even though the Pocophone F1 goes head to head with the current flagship phones in the specification department, it is no where closer to their built quality. The device does feel solid in hand but it is entirely made up of plastic. This is where Xiaomi decided to apply their cost-cutting.

The display produces decent colors and also feature a notch, which apparently each flagship phone must have these days. The front is made up of dated Gorilla glass 3 and the back is protected by a special Kevlar plastic material. In short, the overall built quality will give you the budget phone vibes.

Should you buy it?

The answer depends on your requirement. If you are an Indian citizen looking for a bang for a buck smartphone under $300 and don’t care about the build quality then look no further this is the phone you should get.

If you are confused about getting this or the One Plus 6 then I think you should wait a little bit. One Plus 6 is a full-on flagship killer, where the Pocophone F1 feels like a great bang for a buck budget phone. Same like the huge megapixel count doesn’t make a camera better, top of the line specifications doesn’t make a phone better.

One Plus 6 has been proved to be a great smartphone, they have nailed the hardware and software integration. It will provide you overall better build quality, better display, better camera and also a better comunity. We can’t say these things about the new Pocophone F1 yet. Wait for the user feedbacks, wait for more reviews to drop in. Don’t be a victim of impulse buying!

One Plus 6 now has a pretty serious much aggresively priced competitor. Which means there are chances One Plus will drop the prices to regain the public attention.

The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 will be a Flipkart exclusive in India, the sale starts on 29th August at 12 pm. You can buy it here: Pocophone F1

Stay tuned for the updates.
